Topic: Are you enjoying being pergnant?? Posted: 26 May 2006 at 6:07pm |
I have decided that I am quite enjoying being pregnant now. Seems all the yucky bits are disappearing and I am having a pleasant time like with Paige. Obviously the old ten times to the loo in the night business and weight gain are a little bit on my mind but all in all its great!!
I so cant wait to meet this little man!!

I'm starting to enjoy it now too....though like you the potty breaks during the night are a little too much (even if I am getting used to it!) and the weight gain isn't much fun (admittidly McD's for dinner doesn't help - I'll start being "good" tomorrow).
hehehehehe.

I feel like crap haha to be honest. Its a shame but I do. I did get over the morning sickness but just being tired and waking up at all hours of the night and feeling like spewing all the time now is getting me down and making me even more tired and out.
Im only loving the big belly and feeling him kick and the excitement of becoming a young mummy. Oooh and my baby shower coming up soon. Haha.

I wish I was but no not really. Im huge, sore constantly, tired and often feel sick. Now with GD I can eat hardly anything either and have to prick my finger all the time and inject myself which I hate. I really just want it all over and done with and be holding my wee girl

I started enjoying being preggers after I got over the morning sickness and my belly started growing. And I fell in love when I felt him move!
Am starting to get to the impatient stage now though, and I've still got a week to go!

Hated the 1st trimester with terrible morning sickness...2nd trimester I really enjoyed.....third trimester started off great but went downhill. Now I hate being pregnant & since my due date came & went yesterday with no sign of imminent arrival of Bubs I'm just fed up.
But I still have very fond memories of that second trimester

I didn't enjoy the first trimester with all the sickness mood changes, and the second trimester arrived with constant headaches thanks to the changes in my blood volume, etc... so while I really enjoyed knowing that I was carrying a baby from the moment I found out, I didn't really enjoy the experience of it until the last few weeks, where I get her wriggling every day and have the belly to prove it. I like this second trimester now! And sure, I've got backache and sore hips and a return of a spot of asthma, but the nice experiences outweigh those.

i'm enjoying now that the constant tiredness has subsided a little, my potty breaks are now down to one a night and my belly is definately baby not fat
i'm now feeling bubs move and kick which is great as it seemed to take forever compared to the first time. not that great the other night though when i had a tummy bug and all bubs wanted to do was wriggle and kick all night!!

ohh - I've got to admit, I really love being prenant! I was very lucky in the first trimester and didn't get any sickness or tired. Now I'm growing I really like my new belly and love feeling the bubs move. My sister thinks I'm gona end up with a million kids cos I'm enjoying it so much! Mind you, you might want to ask me again once I get to 40 weeks and after the birth! We might be sticking to one after all ha ha!

I am definitely enjoying being pregnant now that I have passed my 1st trimester and especially having more energy to do things. I also like that I can see a bump in my clothing and people are starting to notice it

I love being pregnant!
I enjoyed every moment of the second half of my pregnancy with Kiya (didn't find out I was pregnant until I was around half way through).
I enjoyed the majority of my pregnancy with Josiah, until the last 3 weeks. I had irritable uterus, and after that long a period of useless contractions, I had had enough.
I like being pregnant still, although I'm finding it quite hard this time emotionally. My postnatal depression means that I struggle sometimes to even remember that I'm pregnant... and finding out that my dates were a cycle out, then today having to take my navel piercing out, have knocked me back a bit. Still, once I start feeling Bubs move more regularly, I'm sure I'll bond a bit more.

I really loved being pregnant right up until 6 months when I started getting REALLY tired (turned out I had low iron stores which was only picked up 2 weeks ago). I don't mind the peeing 3 times a night as I look at it as good practice for when bubs is here, but it would be really nice to be able to actually get out of the bed! I hate that bit!
Other than that little whinge, I've been really lucky and haven't had any issues/sickness at all, so I have just appreciated that I have been so well and take one week at a time.
In saying that though... Since we started going to antenatal class I just want to stop constantly talking about the birth and just get on with it! This baby is going to get an eviction notice at 38 weeks (2 weeks to pack it's bags )- I'll be gutted if I go over 40 weeks even though I know it is the norm with a first baby *sigh*
