HI all I am hoping that someone has a suggestion to help me. I have smelly Nappies. Reading through some of the previous posts I thought I would strip them, which I have done.

Now the inserts are lovely and new smelling, but the pockets are still rather smelly??? What should I try now to get rid of the smell, or are my nappies past their best before date (they are cheap ones off trademe) which I did buy new.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions

i find that sometimes leaving them outside for a day and a night or two can sometimes help.

I find hanging them on the clothesline & giving them a good airing helps too. Also rinsing them before you put them in the bucket & I've started using either canesten or dettol in the final rinse which helps leave them smelling nice too.
