Just a question to see what everyone else does. Ashleigh is doing well with her toilet training but is still at the stage of needing to pee every hour or so or she'll generally wet herself if she is busy playing or out. So when you are going on say an hour long car ride, do you put them in a nappy? Any longer than an hour then I definately would but not sure about Sunday when we are going to the in laws and it takes 55 mins to get there. And we don't drive past any public toilets either.   We were going into Hamilton the other day, she went wees before we left, then half way there (only take 25 mins to get to where we were going) informs me she needed to wee again so I had to find a toilet for her.

When Michaela was TTing if we went over to my parents (45-60mins away) I would put her in thick toilet training underpants for the journey (we had several pairs of bright bots ones) so if she went only herself and her trousers got wet, it didn't end up a huge cleanup mission.

The one time we did a really long car ride (to a funeral up north about 4 hrs each way) I put her in nappies and then we had a couple of days of accidents while she got back into the routine of using the toilet when she needed to go.

I remember carrying around the potty & a bottle of water to "Flush" it.

Worked a treat

I still put Keira in a pull up for long trips or when traveling on the train into town (1 hour) we never seem to have accidents and make sure we stop as much we can as if she is in undies.

I think its more of a peace of mind for me
