Topic: Where does your name come from? Posted: 14 May 2009 at 11:58am |
I have been on OB for a while now and have noticed that many of you have some quite unusual forum names. Where do they come from if you don't mind me asking? Mine is fairly obvious!

I use Daizy on everything. I have used it for so long I cant really remember where it came from.
I guess it could mean a flower, a cow ....
Actually thinking about it I think its shortened from "woopsie daisy" from years back when I was in love with Notting Hill, and Hugh Grant

Mine is my favourite flower also. I'm useless at thinking up names so I just use the first thing I can think of.

My sisters nickname is bean and my brothers is blue lol I was always biddy but when I got meningitis I lost my memory and my sister wanted me to know how special I was (I couldn't even remember my family) so she said I was a babe inside and out and it stuck.
Haha oops novel sorry...

Mine is pretty obvious too lol - Maya is my daughter who was named after my fave poet Maya Angelou, and even tho I now have 3 more girls I can't bring myself to change my forum name after all this time.

My nickname was "Charly" before I had Hannah (I wonder why ;)).
Then Hannah was born so I changed it.
Hannah's our little Pickle (cos that's what she looked like at her 12 week scan)...and I'm her Mama.

DH chose my name. He's a huge Jim Morrison fan and if he had a forum handle it would be Lizard King or Mr Mojo Rising (something Doors related). Anyway he suggested MrsMojo, I thought it sounded pretty cool and since my name is Jo anyway it fit

I think mines pretty obvious LMAO, didn't really think about being Mum to two lol
Here I was thinking this was about where our real names have come from LOL until I read the thread. But for hilarity my Mum picked my real name from the Johnson Baby book & thought that it would be common If you want to know my full name click my profile, as you can see it's pretty uncommon

My surname is Little and so when I got pregnant DH and I and other family said we were having a little Little.
Ironic now because he's going to be between 9 and 10pd so I should probably change my name to bigLittle!!
