Topic: weird feeling....down there! Posted: 30 May 2006 at 7:39pm |
Hey (me again...)
Just wanted to run this past you guys before I bothered the midwife.
All afternoon and evening I've been feeling a "hiccups" sensation from bubs but with a pulsating feeling where I would assume my cervix is. As far as I know baby's head isn't engaged but this is starting to freak me out a bit

I'm with Aimee... and like everyone here keeps saying: "That's what she's there for!"

I sometimes get 'punched' down low and it feels like my cervix wobbles around a bit, can't say I feel it very often but I have felt it before. I do second the thing about your midwife though !

It may just be hiccups, but you shouldn't feel them anywhere extra! Your friends just want you to be alright, Toni!

awww what a bunch of sweeties you all are *warm fuzzies*
I spoke to my midwife (who also said, call me any time you want lol) and she said that it's probably either hiccups and bubs is hitting muscle tissue that makes me feel like it's the cervix pulsating or Braxton Hicks contractions, she told me to call her back if anything changed.

Toni - I remember that!!!! I've tried to explain it to soooo many people and you are the first person who has described it!!! It's weird... like your PC muscles are contracting all by themselves?!?
Anyway, I didn't do anything about it as it didn't hurt.
