We're just starting adding real cow's milk into Daniel's fomula to gradually change him over. I've been doing it for 3 days. The last 2 days he's been a real grumpy bum and very refluxy - his breath is caustic. He hasn't had reflux issues for 2-3 months. He takes cheese, yoghurt and icecream (bad mother) absolutely fine so I thought he'd be OK with going onto milk.

Does anyone have any experience of milk causing reflux despite the baby being fine with other dairy products?

obviously can't answer your question for Natalie! but from what I've heard, the milk in yoghurt and cheese (not sure about ice cream though) is tolerated better than straight milk as the bacteria in yoghurt/cheese changes the milk proteins so they are more easily digested... might not be an option, but what about goat's milk or rice milk as an alternative? (once again might not be ok if that's all the milk he gets?)
