not sure but like you it took the first month of trying with #1 ..#2 took 3 months.
I think they (drs) say you need to trying for a year before they class you as infertile.

You can not ovulate every now and then... Having said that it is also possible for you to ovulate a little later than usual.
No pains or EWCM does not necessarily mean you have not ovulated either, having those symptoms doesnt always mean you have ovulated.
TTC can be so confusing and frustrating.
FX that you did ovulate but just didnt get any symptoms.

Totally possible. Also you may just be ovulating later this month. On the month that I got preg with DS I ovulated much later then normal. Have you tried taking your waking temp? that is a good way to tell if you have ovulated or not. Also your body could still be regulating it's self after your last preg.

The month I concieved Ty, I had no ewcm , and no ovulation pains, and I thought I hadn't ovulated at all.
The only thing I had was that it was , erm, wetter , than usual, but definetly no ewcm , or indications I was , unlike the other month when I clearly ovulated ,but didn't concieve .
...bodies are weird !
Good luck , hope it happens for you soon :-)

Im not sure about whether we ovulate every month but I know you dont have to have ovulation pains or ewcm, as I never had any of that when we conceived Caden. Chances are, you are ovulating and that your body is just different now that you have had a baby.
After I had Caden I had really bad ovulation pains and lots of icky cm, and I know I was ovulating when this baby was conceived, although I didnt think Id get pregnant, cos it took about 3 months to concieve Caden.
