Topic: My pregnancy quirk Posted: 09 June 2006 at 10:29am |
AAAGGHHH!!! It happened when I was pregnant with Kiya... it happened when I was pregnant with Josiah... and now it's happening again!
I get massive, sometimes sore blackheads and pimples. Lots of people do as their skin plays up, but mine are on my earlobes!

at least it's a pregnancy thing and not an all the time thing? (trying to look on the bright side)... it's less permanent than stretch marks....

I had reasonably bad skin during my first trimester and the lady who dyes my eyelashes (my only girly treat) said that it would help if I cleansed less. So now I just take my make up off at night with a wipe and in the morning rather than use a face wash in the shower I just use a wet face cloth. My skin is better than it's ever been and I have had real sensitive/problem skin in the past!
Give that a go

The stupid part is, I don't get them that bad on my face during the hormonal free-for-all that is pregnancy! I get the odd one on my neck, chest and shoulders, but no way as bad as when I was a teenager!
Then, each time I've been pregnant, these horrible things start coming up on my earlobes... so sore and horrible.

I found one tucked right in *behind* my earlobe, right where it sort of joins to your neck - but only by accident when I was taking an earring out and it popped, BIG owies... couldn't sleep on that ear that night
