Topic: Portacots Posted: 24 August 2009 at 7:57pm |
Can anyone recommend a good brand? I want something that packs up pretty small and seem to remember seeing a P&T that could be taken overseas. Ideally I'd like to get one from TM but there are so many to choose from.
TIA

I've just got an ordinary portacot, but if I was going to buy one now, I'd totally go for the P&T Traveller. Ours is fine but it's rather cumbersome to take everywhere.

Hi there
We have a P&T Traveller and it is great. It does pack up very small which is the main reason we went for that one. The mattress is like a thermarest (a thin air mattress) so you blow that up (and deflate it when time to). I normally put something else soft underneath it like a doubled over blanket or sheepskin...whatever really.
Anyway - I am really happy with the P&T one, easy to put up and down and doesn't weight too much or completely fill up the boot when it is time to take it somewhere! We got ours from Kiwibaby...
I would recommend it!

Yep, I second the P&T Traveller. We bought ours new as they have good re-sale value on TradeMe. One auction I was watching went about $40 shy of the new retail price! Also, the latest model has been improved - I think there were minor issues with earlier models.

Me three !
We have the P&t too and its awesome. Easy to put up and really small and light when folded. Also cause its like a tent they can't climb out of it. And I used to use it for dd when I hung otu the washing/showered etc.

Has anyone heard of the Kinderkot? I'm tossing up between that and the P&T's one
