so i've had af back for three months now after having Cian and for those first two months my cycle was exactly the same - 35 day cycle, short light-med flow af, predictable ov... etc!

this last month af has been going for 13 days so far so does this mean that i'm going to ov next week, or will it extend my cycle out a week (assuming i stop soon - please please please!!).

it's a bit weird, cause it was almost like it stopped, then the next day i got a new af... should i be worried?

Yeah, bleeding for 13 days is quite long, I would ask your dr, though it properly is your body sorting itself out. I'm guessing your cycle will extent itself out also.

Fingers crossed the bleeding stops, what a pain!

yeah - i've been holding back on asking the doc cause i didn't want to look stupid if it's a standard thing for after having a baby ! it is a pain though - still going today and i've had mild cramps the whole time too....

might be time to bite the bullet and ring healthline...

I can vouch for health line they are great. Though going to the dr for irregular bleeding, will not make you look stupid! Because it good be normal or something worth checking out.

finally got into the doctor's yesterday and she seems to think it's just a clear-out and that i've just had two long periods back-to-back (lucky me!)... did get told off for not having done a recent smear though! oops

so two and a half weeks later it FINALLY looks like it's coming to an end.... be interesting to see when i ov this month!

I wonder Anita if perhaps the first two cycles you didnt actually ovulate even though it seemed like you did (ov pain, cm etc).

I get short and light AF when I have not ovulated, body might have been sorting itself out.

Glad its easing off now!
