Am 17 weeks and have been getting really yucky reflux over the past 2 weeks and its getting worse. Have put on a bit of beef aropund the stomach which doesn't help. I feel like everything is going to come back up even if I sit down, let alone bend over or cough!!.
Anyone else have this? Any remedies? It doesn't seem to be heartburn as there is no pain..just feels like after anything I eat its gonna come back up. Yuck!!!
you could try mylanta. i used it for indegestion but i know infant mylanta creates a film over the tummy contents so it doesnt come back up so i wonder if normal mylanta des it too?
I had this in my third trimester, sometimes I would still be eating and it would all come back up... ick.
I found snacking was best, like one piece of toast sized snacks every hour so worked for me. Plus I was drinking about 1.5 litres of milk per day (I hate milk but it was so yummy when I was pg) and would have liquid mylanta before bed and the chewable gaviscon through the day when the milk didnt cut it.
