Topic: Hi there, im new:) Posted: 29 June 2006 at 9:12am |
Hi girls,
My names Amber and i have a 2.5 year old son and hubby and i have been trying to concieve for 11 months now . I was on Depo and my periods came back as normal but when we decided to TTC#2 they just stopped all together and still have not returned! .i have had tests done and apparently all is fine and i still ovulate just without period???
I have been using my fertile focus ovulation microscope and it seemed to be working as per normal up until a month ago - today will be day 32 of full on ferning!!!???!!! Im not sure what this means as a pregnancy test has come back negative???
My question is - Has anyone else been through the same thing?????
Actually i would love to hear from anyone no matter what youv been through

Heya! I'm no help with TTC either but welcome! I'm Nikki and also have a daughter Hannah, though 20 months old (I think... lost count).

I'll just keep track of Han through Jake's ticker.
Shot myself in the foot with the anti-ticker movement didn't I?

Hi Amber, I'm Lou and have been TTC for nearly 2 years for baby #1. I have recently started working with a naturopath and have my first specialist appointment later this month. It sounds like you are doing what you can yourself as far as predicting ovulation, etc. When you say you've had all the tests done, is this just with your GP? If so, I know that they usually only perform basic tests, so a specialist may be your next step perhaps.

Hi Amber. I'm Tarsh, and I have a 2.5 yr old Bethany. I have jsut started my 19th cycle TTC #2. It sucks huh!!!
I have no experience in ovulation without periods, or with the microscope thingie sorry. I know that there are a couple of TTC'ers here who do use the microscope though. I have been seeing a fertility specialist for a while now, and unfortulately I'm running out of options. Hopefully things start happening soon though.
Welcome to Oh baby - and I'm happy to try and help with any other long time TTC questions if you want.

Ah, let us forum geeks explain all!
PM means Private Message (so PMed = Private Messaged) Your private message inbox is at the top of the screen you are looking at now, along with 'Active Topics' etc.
And the ticker/counters are the pretty pictures. Click on one you like to take you there and make your own. Once finished the site will give you a few codes, choose the one that starts with [URL] (specifically square brackets) and paste it into your signature (on the profile page - same place up the top as private message inbox)
And after that you are initiated as an OhBaby nerd

Oooo forgot to say... make sure your signature is turned on. There is a little box on your profile that has to be ticked. (Hope you can figure out my instructions!!!)

Hi Amber
Welcome to OhBaby, everyone here is great and you are right with the fast response to posts. I have been TTC for just under 2 years with one m/c just over a month ago. Now that AF has been and gone we are going to start TTC again.
All the best for you and your journey with TTC.

Hey!! just wanted to say hi and welcome! I'm pregnant with number 1 and it took hubby and I just over a year to conceive (we found out we were pregnant the month before we were due to go a fertility specialist - it had been established that we have a fairly minor fertility issue.)
All the best to you - you'll find lots of info here!
