    Posted: 08 July 2006 at 2:00pm

I thought I would put up an update of my little boy.
Blaire is just over 5 weeks old now, last weigh in was 5.04kg (11lb 1oz) and he was 59cm long. He is sleeping 6-7 hours at night which is BLISS!! and he is feeding so well.
I'm still tandem feeding the two boys and I have been asked by plunket to help organise the new breastfeeding club which sounds exciting.
I compared Alex & Blaire together at the same age & I was quite suprised at the result...Alex was a lot heavier (nearly a pound & a half heavier) at the same age but Blaire is longer by 2cm. They still look nearly identical when I compare pictures of Alex with Blaire.
Lol my man Spencer said they are definitely the Milkman's kids........Teeheehee..I have to agree since he is our milkman!!:P

Here is a pic of my boys all together

Lol! Well Liz, Alex used to be dark, but it all fell out & went white-blond, then I gave him a #4 & it grew back a kind of sandy colour. Oh & the mittens were made by a lovely friend of mine, they come with a matching pair of booties and also a little beanie (which doesn't fit his fat head!).
Things are going so well, I'm not sure how I managed to be lucky enough to get two easy babies......

I didn't realise how rare it is these days to tandem feed your kids. My plunket nurse was really surprised and she is also the local lactation consultant. She said the amount of people breastfeeding beyond one year old is dropping which for me personally seems quite sad.
