Topic: How are your babies/children doing? Posted: 22 February 2010 at 8:35am |
I thought it might be nice to just have a general quick catchup with everyone and to see how all your lovely kiddies are doing.
Rhiannon is 4 in April, (Which means she is off to school next year...arrgghhhh) and is such a lovely little girl, she is at kindy 4 days a week now and loving it.
She is an awesome big sister and loves her brother to bits.
Cory is 1 in June (OMG where has that time gone)
and he is mobile, crawling, pulling himself up on stuff, traversing the furniture and is a happy little chappy.

Nice idea Kaz!!! Time goes so fast
The girls are 6 months old now...chattering away, rolling, trying to sit up and laughing at everything. Also dribbling away chronically and keeping us on our toes!! They're awesome little girls and I them so much

This is a great idea
Alia has started her 2ND!!! year of school is now doing Ballet & Gymnastics & is loving both. Still having issues with her food intolerances (laziness on my behalf really) She's growing though as she's in size 8 clothes heightwise!
Cooper is 13month old & walking everywhere, chatting & generally into everything! Such a placid laid back little boy. Getting on top of his reflux & are hanging out for his allegry tests in 3 weeks or so.
I'm also looking a 1 year old little girl & it's so cool to see "The Twins" interacting. At times she thinks he's got boy germs though She's starting to walk by copying him!

Great idea Kaz! Wow I can't believe your big girl's 4 soon Where has that time gone?
Jack's 2, going through the mean terrible 2's stage where everything is 'no I do it', 'stop it mummy', etc etc. BUT he's very cute, such a great helper and has fantastic manners. He's also lots of fun to take out and about now.
Ava's 6 months tomorrow and is getting over her reflux. She still wakes about 5 times a night for no reason but is a very chatty and smiley wee girl now, which is great to see.
Both kids are settling well in DC but are getting very tired from longer hours with me working. I'm loving this stage with them but can't wait until they can interact more.

Conor is 14.5 and has finally settled into his new school up here... it took awhile but he's enjoying it now. Helps that he's got an aunty and family friend who teach there.
Nyah is 7.5 and has also settled into her school, she has made lots of friends up here, and we never see her, the minute she finishes her homework she is out of here riding her bike with her neighbourhood friends. We still have a bit of the attitude but we deal with that when it happens. Shes a good sister too.
Cooper, is still the destructa kid he has always been. Have enrolled him in kindy, but the waiting lists up here are quite long so he probably won't start for awhile. He's a right chatterbox and loves hanging out with the big kids. He's terrified of the beach though.. but we're working on that.

Great idea.
Alex is 13mths now, he is walking, he is such a wee character, he can be very trying at times but he gives the best cuddles. He loves to be around other kids and if we are out and he sees another kid he will happily chat away to them. He is such a happy wee fella,

Great idea :-)
Caitlyn is now 7 and a half EIGHT in june, she is in YEAR 3 , aka "MIDDLE SCHOOL " .
Holy crap , how did that happen ??
Shes still gorgeous, even tho she cut her fringe ( grr) and is using her looks to her advantage, she had all the boys hanging round her at her school family bbq, I eVen saw her wink at one , think im gonna have my work cut out for me ...
She has a tendency to be overdramatic at times, but on the whole she is enjoying school, has lots of friends is funny and kind
Tyler bear is 7 and a half months , and hes just beautiful , im smitten with him .
Hes a little pig, eating solids 3 times a day , having booby feeds and formula when his dad wants to feed him .
He crawls everywhere pulls himself up on things , and of course , is always after the remote, or my phone, or the keyboard , or power sockets etc etc .
His favourite "toy" is Caitlyn , (who , I forgot to mention is just wonderful with him , she can even change his nappy ) he is a very happy baby , full of smiles and laughs, except when hes tired, then he goes a lot more serious and can give you looks which are a danger to your self esteem .
All in all tho , they are both great and im very blessed, murphy's law ,this next one will be a monster

ummmmm something to tell us????????
anyways - Ella is great..she is three in 2 weeks time and is transitioning into the BIG kids classroom at daycare! She is VERY tall....and still skinny as anything. Had hiccups with her sleeping in the heat a few weeks back but now she is back to my 12 hour sleeper! ahhh.....
She is still gorgeous - im just slightly biased on that! and so intelligent its not funny! Everyone who meets her thinks she is more like a 4 year old than a nearly 3 year old! Am scared to test her IQ actually LOL!
She adores life, tries anything new, eats well, sleeps well (now!) and has lovely three year old tantrums at times...but gets over herself pretty quickly - thank goodness!!! She has been a true blessing....and now is giving us grief for "a brother sister?"....eek!

I haven't been on here much so will use this as a chance to introduce my lil one
Esme is 16 weeks old today! Time has flowen by and we are looking into daycare to start in a few months She's a happy (noisy) baby, trying to roll and picking up her toys which then go straight into her mouth. We are loving all the smiles and 'stories' that we get each day

Great idea
Callum is 14.5months old walking everywhere and trying very hard to run Right now he's waving goodbye to Daddy and DH is finding it very hard to walk out the door to work!
Amazingly he seems to be all caught up with other kids his age now. He's tall, his legs seem to be getting longer and longer!
I too feel very blessed to have such a laid back, outgoing and happy baby (toddler!! eek!) I'm really looking forward to Callum being a big brother too - we were just at friends' yesterday who have a teeny new baby and he was so interested but so gentle with her .. very cute to see!

What a cool idea!
Sam is three in May, and my god he is my little drama queen. He's very outgoing, quirky and funny as anything. He's quite big for his age, not overly tall but very solid. He's just beautiful and we're just starting to get him into a talent agency. He keeps telling me that he's going to be on TV so we're starting early! He's a wonderful big brother and is always giving Jamie little kisses and cuddles and even tries to change his nappy! He is starting kindy when he turns three, so hopefully he will enjoy that heaps.
Jamie is just over two months now. He's my little buddha baby. So relaxed, so laid back and so smily. He is happy to do whatever, whenever. Is a bit of a grump at times and will let out huge foghorn yells but he's generally pretty cruisy.

Leah is 3yrs 4 months and started Kindy last week!! She loves it already and is disappointed its only 3 days a week lol!
Joel is 18months....man where has that time gone! Into everything, climbs out of his cot, turns his fan on and off comes out to see us in the morning! Talking in sentences now and new words everyday.
I am also looking after 2 3yr olds for 20 hours a week each so the house is very full! Esp when the chickens come inside !!

Aww I'm loving this thread!
It's amazing how fast they grow
Hannah's just turned 2. She's a little firecracker.
She doesn't stop moving, but is lovely and snuggly when she needs a few minutes to catch her breath (usually while watching Postman Pat).
She's a chatterbox. Her vocab astounds me daily. She'll repeat everything we say and it sticks like glue. Obviously got that from her Daddy!!
She's enrolled in kindy and will start in 6-11 months.
She's slowly grasping the fact that I have a baby in my belly. She's a very gentle girl and loves my neighbour's 6 month old, so I'm really excited about her having her "own" baby
She eats, sleeps and plays well. Always with a smile on her face (despite the odd tanty!!).
She's my Happy Place

Oh I love reading what everyone else has written about there kiddys. Brings a smile to my face!
Well, Ethan has just turned 4 (on Valentines day) he is tall for his age. He is an amazing little man who tells his Mummy he loves her every day. He loves hugs and his sisters and he is most of the time a good big brother. He loves his Day Care and is just about to start soccer. He has been able to swim since he was 3 and a half and it amazes me to see him jump right in and dive down to the bottom to pick up toys. I know that I could never do that! He 's playing on the trampoline and with his legos and LOVES his Rocky the Robot Truck.
Erynn and Violette are now almost 5 and half months old. Erynn has started to roll on to her tummy. She can't get back though so will get grumpy and cry. She is out going and I have a feeling it won't be long until she crawling. Violette is a placid wee thing who has thankfully gotten over the worst of the reflux. She is happy to lay on the floor and kick her legs and have me feed her.
I my kids so much and I am very very proud of all three of them.
