The Elevit is still available. I'm surprised nobody is interessted, I thought it is a very popular supplement. The only reason I'm not using it is that my mw recommended something else to take.

Susyl a lot of people dont take it, its expensive and notorious for making people nausea once utd... that said I am taking it but I have enough
You could always keep it for the latter stages of pg as it has more iron in it then the one you are taking and your iron stores really deplete towards the end and the iodine isnt as important then....

Really? I got it online for $75 the only other place I found sold it for $69 but they wanted freight so it worked out to be pretty much the same.
Never mind. If I can't sell it I will keep it and like Mel suggested take it later on in the pregnancy or one I'm BF maybe.

Yeah mine cost $73 with freight and you can pick it up from town if you want and I think its $69..
Once you run out of the blackmores you will be in the second trimester and I would just start taking that elevit... it will help boost your iron levels so you wont feel so tired

Hi ladies,
just a warning. I read a study recently which shows high levels of folic acid are only beneficial in the first trimester (when there is the risk of spinal deformities). After that high levels of folic acid have no, or even a detrimental, effect on the baby. Such as increased chances of asthma and allergies.
Supplements are good, but not necessarily very high levels of folic acid.
Might be something to ask your MW.
