How about doing it on one of the West Coast beaches maybe?

I would love to do trash the dress, however DH has other ideas. He thinks what a waste of money considering how much we paid for it, yet I think well its not making me any money sitting in a box on top of my wardrobe I may as well wear it again and get my monies worth out of it

Who is doing your shoot BTW?

oooh sounds interesting, i have never heard of a trash the dress shoot... could you do something with a dye or paint? something that will wash out. maybe at an art gallery and make it look like an artist thing... on the steps of the museum maybe or the wintergardens, they have a pond.

yeah i dont think i could add paint....mum made it and sewed on the crystals by hand etc etc...it is a bit messy from the day on the hem and she was ok with that (heck we jumped between boats etc)...but paint might kill her!!!

it was the momentz one on FB - think there are a few of us getting them? cant wait....

do u think I should add bubba to the mix too...or would that just be weird 3 yrs after the fact?

How about somewhere like a creek / swimming hole rather than the beach - up in the Waitakeres there are lots of lovely litltle places. Whatipu would be cool too though.

Am jealous - I would love to do it, but dont think I am brave enough!!

What a cool thing to do.. I would love to but am far too chicken!!

The Cascades on Scenic Drive would be awesome with the waterfall and something a bit different than a beach. You might need some thermals on under the dress though!!

There is a waterfall at Karekare beach that takes 5 minutes to walk to and its beautiful....but FREEZING! Photos there would look amazing and then you could also do some on the beach which is totally amazing too!
