Topic: April fools jokes Posted: 01 April 2010 at 12:27pm |
Since today is the first of April i thought I'd ask what is the best/worst April fools joke you had ever pulled off or had done to you?
I have done a mean one to my DP today. I feel quite bad about it now but it seamed like a good idea before i did it.
Please no-one get offended by it, in no way do i mean to make light of trying to get pregnant or not being able to at all.
Anyway, I have a nearly 6 week old baby and as you all know you can get pregnant straight away after birth even if you haven't had AF. well a couple of weeks ago DP and i had unprotected BD and he did his business inside me (was told to stop before that point). He knew he wasn't allowed and we both knew we should have been using protection. Well today being April fools i thought i would txt him to say that i had been feeling funny lately so i had brought a test and it was positive. He believes me and has said that he will stand by me whatever i decide to do.
I feel real bad now tho cos i have tricked him, they poor guy is going to be worried all day at work now.
Do i tell him now that its a joke or wait until he gets home tonight.

BriandOlisMum - I'd tell him now! It will be less funny the more he thinks about it.
I was just gonna see what everyone had joked today...
I rang DF this morning and told him I did a preg test and I was pregnant - he was like "OMG are you sure!?' and I sai 'Na - April fools!!' - hilarious!!! Or should I say his reaction after that was - hehehe!
So then later on today he texted me saying;
'got some terrible news, my work is closing down, having a big meeting at lunch time'
I jumped straight on the phone to him and took me a good couple mins to realise I'd been had.
I really need to get him back now but he is gonna be on guard... hmmm what to do what to do!!

My DH rang me at work (medical lab), pretended to be my doctor, and proceeded to tell me my HIV test had come back positive. It was a bad line, and I totally didn't recognise his voice, FREAKED me out, was shaking and all the works!!!

My SIL and her DF have just moved into a caravan in our backyard, they stayed at their old place last night. I texted the DF this morning to say that the caravan was missing. It would have worked better if he had saved my number into his phone, but they were still kinda expecting to arrive to a pile of their boxes where the caravan was.
