Topic: Wish us luck... Posted: 01 April 2010 at 8:08pm |
Well tonight is going to be the first night we try get through the night dry in a cloth nappy. It's not really by choice-we normally have DS (age 2 & a half) in a sposie overnight because I'm so afraid of leaks, but we have run out of sposies & none of the supermarkets had any on sale in his size. I refuse to pay full price, so cloth overnight it is.
I've taken a Nudey rudey pocket & stuffed it with 2 MF inserts & an itti bitti bamboo insert folded double. I am hoping that'll get him through the night. Wish me luck! Who knows-if it works I may not have to buy more sposies....

Good luck! I stuff DD's nappies overnight with 2x flat nappies which lasts 14hrs no leaks, so maybe you could try that if tonight's combo doesn't work

Good luck! My girl's a super wetter, so I use 1 microfibre and 2 or 3 hemp/bamboo/cotton trifolds depending on how much she's had to drink. (Another combo to try - we've never had leaks yet)

WOOHOO! Success! 13 hours & no leaks!!!!
*does the happy dance around the room*
So maybe I'll do it again tonight.
Now if we could just find a way to get preschool to let him go in cloth. It's only twice a week & we only send three sposies each time, but still...

Oh yay for reuseables overnight!! My girl isn't a super wetter, but must have sensitive skin as she gets thrush if she's in cloth overnight. They're the only disposables we use, but it'd still be neat to be completely in cloth
