Morning all
I got up this morning and went to the bathroom (as you do) and noticed some dark discharge (kind of the stuff you get before you get your period - sorry TMI I know!)
Wasnt too worried and went to the gym for a light cardio session, there was a bit more darkish discharge after this - is this normal? Im 5 weeks today - I've read in books that you can get this sort of stuff while your body adjusts BUT to be worried if its bright red blood and it doesnt stop
what should I do??? Im probably worrying over nothing.........

Hi there. Really hard to say. I know several people who've had this and all has been fine & several who have had miscarriages. Hang in there....unfortunately time will tell. Perhaps a visit to the GP for some blood tests would be a good idea?

I had some spotting on odd occasions from time to time. In my case, nothing to worry about either, thank goodness

I think the waiting game is the worst part of bleeding early on. I had brown and red bleeding until 10 weeks, I was so positive I was about to miscarry (I miscarried my last one at 5 weeks). The MW just kept saying baby is still alive, we just have to wait and see how it turns out.

Turned out he's fine hopefully it's the same for you!

Hope the bleeding has settled. I have bled with all 3 of mine and lost the middle one but the other 2 were fine. I think it's very common though. Good luck!
