A crash c section is an emergency emergency iygwim - the dramatic type like you see on tv - "if we don't get this baby out now mum or baby's life is in danger" sort of thing. (I *think* asilm had undiagnosed pre eclampsia which led to an abruption, in which case they are very very lucky to have the gorgeous wee Anika!)
Yes, welcome also to SuzyNZ's wee boy Adam John who was born at 5.24pm on the 25th of June weighing 7pd 4oz , mum and baby both doing well (Adam was due 7th July but induced early due to GD)

Wow it's all go in July 2010! Ladies, that's the place to lurk at the moment, even in the small hours of the morning! Logging in once a day just isn't enough to keep up!

I just found this thread! Yes Weegee you have it spot on! Specialist said we had 5 or 10 minutes to spare... so we were very lucky.
So thrilled to see all the new July babies coming along now and all such good, healthy babies.

11th June 2010 Hannah-Leah Alvine Michaela Aroha Stone-Wiringi arrived at 9.36pm at Middlemore Hospital. After being induced. Hannah-Leah weighed in at 7lbs 7ozs and is sister for her two big brothers Nathanael who is 9 and Caleb who is 7.
