I got an email saying that you could buy online first before it went to the public sale.. hence why the site probably went down.

Yeah Farmers don't in General because we were going to Layby Lily's cot mattress and they said no, but said they could hold it for an hour for us.
Thanks for the heads up, I've saved a fair bit for Lily's xmas and 1st Bday present so probably won't be laybying unless it's $200+ which I am sure I won't spend but will probably get excited and go nuts...

Also Nic i went hardout for Taylahs 1st xmas & birthday days apart lol. And half of the toys dont even get touched now. This year i am spending $40(lawnmower &wotwot) for her birthday & thats it. She gets so much for other people.
Your right about the toy library. I think puzzles & books are the best gifts lol & i love outdoor toys lol

Its sooo cool. i love kitchen stuff. DD plays with it a playcentre so im not going to get her any this year but perhaps next year.
I got Taylah a dolls set for her 1st birthday, she is starting to play with it more now that she is walking.
Because DD has birthday & xmas days apart i also think about gifts that will suit her mid year. So for her 1st birthday i was also thinking would she like this at 18/20months etc.
I love toys, i say i wont buy much but i bet i will go nuts tomorrow lol

I really wanna go nuts as its amelias first birthday in 2 weeks , i also just so happen to get my maternity bonus from work next week so im really going to have to give myself a very strict budget before going or ill blow the lot on toys lol ( and im supposed to be saving for a car ) , I love the kitchen stuff too , its so cute , think im gonna get the wee pink bike from kmart for amelias main birthday pressie , it goes from 10month- 3+yrs so will last her ages , its real cool , has a handle so i can push her and has safety belt , then you can take all the safety stuff off and handle as they get older . lol altho knowing amelia she will be more interested in all the wrapping paper and boxes then any of the presents

I am overwhelmed by it all and DD's 2nd birthday is coming up in September plus buying for 4 nieces and 2 of them have a birthday in October which I have already got something for one of them already.

Second time around (mean with second child) there is not actually that much I want to get. I dont know if it is due to having a boy or due to the fact that I know half of the stuff will be an half an hour wonder or something.
I did get a bike for McKayla and got a car toy set for Andrew for Christmas. I think I might just stick with wooden toys for Andrew.
