What do you lot think??

Right I suffer from severe Endo and was getting my periods every 23 to 25 days and suffering Incredible pain.. My LMP in Nov last year was 30 days and had no pain at all and was lighter than any of my others (they are normally heavy)

When I went for my first scan they said I was 5wks 6 days along, now with my last child (Mr 19 months) I went for scan and I was 5wks 3 days along and all you could see was the sak and yoke no heartbeat and I had to go back for another scan 2 weeks later to see the heartbeat... Well with this one at what they reckoned was 5wks 6 days you could very clearly see the heartbeat and even the Mr commented on it and said that wasn't normally for only being 5wks 6 days.

Now I normally have small for dates babies (all other 7 have been that way) but this bubz is measuring to dates.

Now I wondering if I actually got pregnant before my last bled and that's why it was late and so much lighter and not painful..

Going to have a chat to my MW about it tomorrow but just wondering what you lot think.

Knowing you from the Dec08 thread, I think you know your body and your pregnancies better than the drs/experts and so, you're probably further along than they say. When do you think you're due?

I'd say around mid August.... This little Alien is already scratching at the bag. Everything to do with this pregnancy has been happening earlier than normal so that is what has gotten me wondering.

I've had a heartbeat at 5w6d so personally I'd trust the scan. Early scans tend to be very accurate. Things could just be happening earlier because of the number of pregnancies or just a fluke

I had a similar dispute with the sonographer. I have now had 5 due dates from multiple scans and the first one (which is supposed to be the most accurate as the earlier the scan, the more uniform in size babies are) said that I got pregnant in week X when I know full well I didn't have any sex at all that week as we were camping in Kaikoura and it was too bloody cold, not to mention no privacy with 2 kiddies in the tent with us. It also put ovulation 10 days after what it is normally which is just crazy. Now, I know that sperm can stay alive in the vagina for up to 72 hours but even counting that, the sonographer still came up with a spurious date. We fianlly bartered on a middle date during a week I know we had sex.

So I'd say trust what you know about your body and trust your instincts. Machines and people are sometimes wrong, even they should accept that.

Plus Kudos to you for so many children with names beginning with S.

Thanks all

Saw the HRT this week and the Specialist reckons that I'm most likely further along than they thought.. So now I'm being watched weekly.
At least someone listened to me lol
