Anyone know if you get to keep your car on maternity leave? I have a company car and phone, not sure if I can keep these through the 5 months I will be away - any idea as to what I am entitled to (or NOT entitaled to, as the case may be?)...?????
I am due to start my leave in three weeks and was just wondering...?

You're not entitled to keep them....everything goes back to base.

Yeah in our workplace, everything company owned goes back to them so they can give it to whoever is going to be covering you while on maternity leave

Thats what I thought too, but this morning a lady at work said to me that I could keep them because I was still technically an employee, but I thought maybe she was wrong... thats ok just needed to confirm what I was suspecting...

I would have thought that company car and phone would definately go back to company during maternity leave as you are not using them for work purposes.

Hmm...I didnt have a phone and car but I kep the laptop as I was still helping out with month end stuff from home. But I guess because I did that, I got to keep it!
