Hi guys,

Just after some recommendations for a MW in Tauranga - we are moving there in 5 weeks when I will be 12 weeks along, so would like to get organised before we go so it's one less thing I have to stress about! (staying at MIL's for a few weeks til we get settled... deep breaths...)

Don't really know anyone in the area so any recommendations would be great! And how to get a hold of them... this is my first so a bit unsure about how to proceed!

Thanks!

Hey congrats, there was a recent thread on here Tga Midwives

I canfully recommend Andrea Smith (027 333 1371) and one of her back ups Linda Steadman. They are brilliant.

You can also call Bay Midwifery Centre, they have a list of available MW to put you in touch 07 578 7105

Heard good things about Vicky Muller and Jane Puckey. You should be able to find their contact details in the yellow pages. Good luck

Congrats on your pregnancy

I second Leigh, and any of her collegues at Bay Births in Bethlehem.
I've had her for both pregnancies and she's great.

Thanks guys - I found some other threads with recommendations too, managed to get a hold of Vicky Muller first and she is free for my dates, so what I thought was going to be a hassle turned out to be easy as... just overworking everything in my head!
