Love the list heading Leahsmummy! I just changed the ? in Greenstone's due date to the 3rd.
Welcome Hayley! Congrats. Having a cold is a good sign, as your immune system weakens to support a pregnancy (ie doesn't fight the embyro), so even though you're feeling yucky, your body's doing the normal thing.
3 of us due on the same day Must be a good sign.
I've only told my best friend and a close workmate so far, apart from DH of course . DHs parents are due to visit next weekend, so we thought we would tell them and my parents (who live locally) at the same time. I won't tell my siblings etc until closer to 12 weeks though. The reason we telling the parents so early is A) ILs live out of town and we'll like to tell them in person B) If anything bad happens, I want my mummy to know. I also told my BFF as she lives out of town and she was visiting this weekend and took us out for dinner and I wasn't drinking, busted!
I saw my dr on tuesday when I took DS for an ear and chest infection and told him I was pregnant. All he did was ask me when my last period was and told me when I was due. They didn't do anything when I was pregnant with DS either. My MW did everything, which is fine now, but it really annoyed me with my first pregnancy as we were so excited and felt fobbed off by the GP. I will ring my MW tomorrow

Haven't told anyone yet. Will wait as long as I can gt away with it - but might need to tell people at work that I won't be back for good next year.
And no symptoms at all here - except what RBsmama said about the immune system explains why I had a cold that I just couldn't shake three weeks ago . Mind you last time I didn't get any symptoms until about four months along, so nothing new there.

Have only told my BF... was here when I got my BFP...
Worrying abut telling work, as have only just started there, so don't think it's going to got down very well..
Guess I won't qualify for any mat leave... so we better get saving.
Hope you ladies all get a good sleep...

Mind if I join in?
I had a positive test last Friday - very exciting! From my calculations, I am due on the 5th of April. Hopefully, everything goes well!
We are living in London at the moment, but I wanted to join in a New Zealand forum to talk to kiwis!
We haven't told anyone yet. But I really want to tell my Mum so I can ask her questions.
I have been having cramps the last couple of days, but other than that am feeling fine.

Welcome londonmade and congratulations :-) The forums were a lifeline for me when I was living in Egypt and needed some like minded mums to be to chat with, I hope we can do the same!
We have told my parents and my family that are here in Perth. I also emailed my best mates back in Egypt. We are going to try and keep it a secret till we can tell the NZ family in person in a few weeks time. Our entire pregnancy was in Egypt last time so we really missed telling everyone in person. We are not ones to be able to keep it secret till past twelve weeks, we are too excited and would want people to know and be able to support us in the (touchwood, won't happen) case of a mc.
Just did another test this afternoon, just for fun. The line is gettign darker and came up straight away... yay for tiny little babies!

I'm just lurking and thought I would say Essjay - that you are entitled to the 14 weeks paid maternity leave after you have been in your job for 6 months, so as long as you are already there you will get that.
It is just the extended leave that you aren't entitled to....but some companies will work with you to find the best solution, so you never know!

Thank you for the welcome! I hope that everyone is feeling good this morning in NZ!
How is everyone dealing with not giving the game away issues? I am not out tonight with my husband and tomorrow night we are meant to be going to a champagne bar with my work friends. Saturday is a BBQ and Sunday is lunch with some close friends who are wine and food buffs like my DH and I (the food restrictions are already annoying me!) I am thinking that I might develop a UTI tomorrow morning.
Summer in London is all about socialising and since no one really lives in houses with gardens and most people are without children it is all about eating out and drinking!

Yep i would say honey and lemon drinks and pandol and there are some throat lollies you can have but get them from a chemist so you can ask them. Hope you start feeling better soon.
I was feeling pretty weak this morning and DH said last night that i was looking pale, but i feel better now that ive have some toast.
