What are the best products you have used for prevention and later to treat them? Cheers in advance.

I used almond oil. I liked it because it is all natural and affordable. But I often forgot to put it on, so I had a lot leftover, which I later used a massage oil for DD.
I must be very lucky though, cause I didn't get a single stretchmark.
(Even though I got stretchmarks on my legs and breasts as a teenager. )

I used palmer's cocoa butter (the fragrance free formula), body shop body butters, bio oil, apricot kernal oil... Umpteen bottles and jars of cream and lotion - I moisturised my tummy before I knew I was pregnant, and when I found out I was preggy I became religious about it - morning and night, and whenever else I had time. I got no stretchmarks on anywhere I remembered to moisturise, but got a few over my hips/buttcheeks as I forget to do there....

I used Palmers, Bio Oil, DermaOil and even MEBO Skin Restore. Put them on every day while pregnant starting when I found out I was pregnant (I also used to moisturise my whole body including puku after every shower before pregnancy)...... And still got stretch marks It's a genetic thing unfortunately! I still put on Bio Oil and DermaOil and they have faded to silver but whether thats because of the oils or whether they would have done that anyway is debatable!

I wasn't good at remembering to put anything on my belly...had bio oil and other moisturisers...but honestly didn't really use them, specially not in third trimester. I didn't get any stretch marks. I'm now more of a believer in genetics (my mum and sister didn't get any stretch marks either...I've got dry/allergenic skin, they've got oily) than what you put on it!

Yeah I reckon it's genetics too. I was lazy with putting oil on and was very lucky not to get any. I LOVED the almond oil from Nature Baby. Great smell and felt far less synthetic than bio oil. Cheers

I used sweet almond oil and palmers cocoa butter, I tried bio oil but I reacted badly to it (came out all blotchy, and my scars were soooo itchy while using it). I too, still ended up with stretchies - even though my mum and sister have none, just unlucky I guess.
