Topic: cot sheets!! Posted: 17 August 2006 at 5:10pm |
Ok so we finally got our new cot today yay! but anyway, just ahead sup- i have no idea if it is all around the country but the baby factory here in palmy has printed flanellette sheet sets - american sized for $14.95, normal cot for $12.95 and basinette size for $11.95.. i thought that is pretty good (esp considering we now find that none of the sheets we have for Ayja actually fit the new one!! so will be off to buy a few more sets tomorrow..) anyway just thought it might be useful info for someone.

They had them at the Takapuna branch too. I also bought a flash looking cotton waffle cot blanket, marked down from $40 to $15. Much flasher than the polar fleece blankets I usually have on the cot.

I just listed some pretty crap sheets on TradeMe. Well... not crap... but they were about $15 from the Baby Factory a while ago.
I think they are american sized... but not absolutely sure. I haven't used them for ages so can't remember if they fit nicely or it was a struggle to get them on! I figure for $1 reserve, if I got it wrong they'd not kill me.

And now the little mongrels have bid on the sheets I am trying to get rid of so they can use them as rags in the garage.

yep those are the ones we got Jess, the little tiger ones.. i like that i now have the excuse to spend more and get a few other sets.. lucky our cot quilts are big sized anyway... otherwise, well, i would just have to buy one as well - cos they had them there too for about $15.. but since her rooms gonna be winnie the pooh.. well maybe i may have to go look for one anyway.

I think I'm getting a little addicted to doing up Hannah's room. I'm always looking out for new duvet covers etc
