    Posted: 06 August 2010 at 9:53am

I have to laugh.  99% of comments and 'likes' posted on my page are from my Ohbaby friends!  I don't think any of my real life friends or even family actually leave many comments or posts on my page.  So if it wasn't for all my fabulous Ohbaby friends, my page would not have any traffic!

So thanks guys!!!!

I think it's the community of OhBaby though.  None of my real life friends are on here and not that many of them post regularly on their own page, whereas I guess when you're on here and FB the two go together so when you've checked one site, you automatically go and check the other.

Maybe it's just me like that, and my real life friends just don't give a damn.

eta: I just had a thought though... I actually see my real life friends to tell them stuff and talk to, so I guess they don't need to write on my page and comment cos we'll just talk about it when we see each other.

Lol me too! I probably have slightly more online friends commenting on things than real-life friends.

I often get real life friends talking to me in person about things I've posted on FB though

Yeah I think that's it Daph, friends see what you've said or done and just say something to you in person.  I say why wait, just comment there and then!

Lol even the RL friends that I have posting regulalry on FB are all Mum's too. Dh seems to think we've all got too much time on our hands.  Typical male comment.

I'll say! Especially if it's been a few days since I posted whatever they are talking about. Sometimes it takes a few seconds for me to catch on to what they are talking about

Haha yup, same here! My DF is always saying 'who's such and such?' lol He's come to 'know' most of my fellow Feb 2010 Mums tho, just from telling him about the happenings on our thread lol My online conversations are so much more interesting than my real life conversations tho. I've found most of my 'friends' have forgotten about me now I'm a Mum. Other than my friends who are also Mums..... so only like 3 people. Oh well.

Yeah I am the same, all my OB friends comment on everything!

My other friends that are mums too comment as well but the ones that aren't tend not to unless it's something 'cute' that Lily has done. Non-mothers don't tend to like discussing poo etc

I think maybe a quarter of my friends are OBiers. Still most of my posts and interactions are from them. I have a small group of real life friends that I interact with regularly (mostly other mums) but the rest just kinds sit there doing nothing... they make me look popular

I have noticed that the two world very rarely mix, If I post photos, OHbabiers will usually comment on the same one and real life friends a different one. Even on my Status's its usually one group or the other, I find it quite strange when the two groups happen to mix

I have found that most of my FB friends that are not Ohbaby friends are still out doing the whole single/party thing, and I just don't have the same interests at all, so I love having OB friends!
I can say something and they understand. It's been great to make new friends too who are into the same things (the kids!!) as me

I think people that are active on the boards are online a lot so have a number of boards and social networking sites they use regularly though.

If its fitness related, then my irl friends tend to comment.
