Has anyone had (or have) a sore hip at the socket? I've been doing more walking than usual lately and now it's sore...wondering if that's one of those soft ligament areas for pregnancy. Pelvis feeling okay! And I'm 18 wks.

I often had sore hips at the joint before I got pregnant and they got much worse during pregnancy so I think it must have been the soft ligaments thing as well as my mega weight gain. I could hardly move when I went past 40 weeks. Walking made it worse but swimming was glorious.

YES! I have horrible sore hips at the moment, achey and sometimes shooting pain in the socket and the back... think will have to see a physio to get it looked at.
Congrats by the way

I saw you post yesterday and wondered if you were expecting again T, congratulations!
You need a ticker
In answer to your question, yes. My hips particularly on my left side have been pretty sore on and off in the joint/socket area. Sometimes so sore that I've needed panadol to sleep.
I put it down to subsequent pregnancy/re-stretching/soft ligaments as my pelvis is ok so far too. (Madly touches wood, don't want to jinx it!)

Wow, congratulations!!! I've only had the sore hips in bed and a pillow between the legs has fixed that

Yes and it was so awful! I still suffer now from it, esp when carrying DD. MW sent a referral off to physio but never heard back and that was about beginning of the year too! I got it from about 30 weeks when I hit 60kg.

I had sore hip joint before pregnancy, I did a couple of physio sessions with them and apart from some exercises they've been ok. No trouble thus far, possibly cause there are other parts of my body giving me more grief.
