Topic: P&T Explorer Posted: 17 August 2010 at 3:17pm |
Just wondering if anybody has bought and used the new P&T Explorer already and what feedback they have?
Had a look at it today and it looks pretty good. My original choice was between the Dash and the City Jogger Elite (i just can't get over how easy that one is to fold!!!). So now it's between the Explorer and the Elite.

I think I would be inclined to get the explorer personall, I currently have the Sport but just took a look at the explorer and *drool* I want! I guess also because they are an NZ brand and don't know much about the City Jogger brand other than a lot of Celebs in the US have been given them to get the brand recognised iygwim!

We got our pram on the weekend, the sales assistant recommended we stay away from the newest P&T model (the explorer) as they seem to always have initial teething problems with their new models which do get resolved but can you be bothered with the hassle (especially with a new baby).

Yeah P&T new models do tend to have teething problems but I personally have had such amazing service from P&T I would chance it!
Not every pram will have an issue and they are quick to repair/replace where necessary....
Off to have a look at the new model!

Do they take sport or dash accessories (cocoon etc) or are they going to bring out new ones?

I love the look of the Explorer and what it can do. Very tempted!! Think I'll wait though so it can have its problems and that gives me time to sway DH

They will fit the Dash Peanut, not sure about other accessories.
I never knew they are a NZ company for some reason I always thought they are an American brand.
Still haven't made up my mind but will go back to BOTM once more and compare it with the City Jogger Elite and practice folding it. Then I'll make a decision.
I saw a mum with the City Jogger the other day and approached her. She loves it! The only concern I have is the lack of storage space under the pram but for her it wasn't a concern.

UGHHHH man oh man do I want an explorer. I have a dash. The lady at BC said the were removing the dash and bringing in the explorer. The toddler seat has a hood!!!!! and it comes in apple and has a jandle friendly brake. Which to me sounds fantastic. THe brake on the dash is good. but is a pain when I'm trying to get DD in and out of the toddler seat.
