Hi there my partner and are are ttc and i have done a hpt (first response) and i have a light positive line on the test. i did it again this morning, and its come up ever so slightly darker!! Has anyone else had this happen?
Would love to know!

thats exciting haley. As long as the line is within the 5 mins it should be good. To confirm it I would suggest making a doctors appointment and getting a blood test.

Congrats Haley , two lines on a FR , I would be surprised if that was anything but positive .
I never bothered with blood tests to confirm my pregnancy , once I saw a line on 2 seperate tests, that was enough for me

Yes, all my HPT's were always so light - to the point where you'd have to hold it in the right light, squint and hold your tongue in the right way to see it

I found this forum and asked the same very question and the ladies were spot on, a line is a line so long as it's in the recommended time period!

I got a doctors appt and two subsequent blood tests to confirm and I was definitely UTD.

hooray congrats!!

first response have always been 100% for me! i tested at 10dpo and got a faint line i had to squint at.. but yep a line is a line!

YAY! Im pregnant! Doctor has confirmed it for me! Due 25th April (ANZAC Day) funny consider im a kiwi and my partner is an aussie! :) thanks ladies! much appreciated!
