Does anyone know how to permanently deodorize a crockpot/slow cooker because my one has been smelling pretty funky, like burned, and has absorbed smells from everything we've cooked in it recently. It's really annoying, and I dont know if I want to cook anything else in it as the last stew I made had a slightly burned flavour to it, like the crockpot/slowcooker had tainted it.

Help?

Have you got some baking soda? I'd mix that with some white vinegar and put it in there on low for an hour or so...

Or spray white vinegar in it and leave it for awhile to sit then rinse out.

I spray my chopping boards with white vinegar after I've used them and it works a treat!

PS: white vinegar is your friend

I second the vingear and baking soda!! Make a paste and rub it on - leave it for a bit and then scrub off.
If that didn't work I'd be giving oven cleaner a go.
