I am thinking about going through housing NZ to get us a place to live. Just wanted to know of others experiences with using them, mainly in West Auckland.

I hear they are not too bad as my friend works for them but you might want to get some background on your neighbours before you commit to anything. Good luck

The other thing you need to bear in mind is they will only give you 2-3 options to choose from, and if you turn those ones down, you have to wait all over again, so it pays not to be too fussy, but def a good idea to check out neighbours first!

My SIL just got a nice place - it's only 5 years old - mint condition, the rent is ridiculously low. She was on a wait list for AGES though.
