Hi There!
Just wondering if you can tell me whether this is lactose intollerance....

I have been putting milk in my daughters weetbix for her to sort of get used to it. I then started giving her a drink of cows milk with breakfast, (she didn't drink much at all) but then she got really mooshy smelly poop. I stopped offering her cows milk as a drink and her poops went back to normal... I also found yoghurt had the same effect... Is she lactose intollerant?

Are her poohs mucousy?

Also has she had dairy in any form before this? Ie formula fed? Or via breastmilk?

You could try A2 milk if she's tolerating a little bit of milk on her weetbix.

So you eat dairy & she's not had a problem before? It could then be a tolerance level. ie on her weetbix is an ok amount but a glass is too much.

A2 has different proteins than normal milk. In PN I've only seen it at Countdown. Kids who can't tolerate normal cows milk have success with A2
