Topic: Cot doona covers Posted: 14 September 2010 at 3:33pm |
Does anyone know where I can buy a doona cover for a cot doona (Fairydown brand, sure it's a standard size)? I can't seem to find one anywhere, just what looks like quilts.
Thanks.

they dont normally make duvets for cots, so would be hard to find a cover i would think.

I have never been able to find one, and have been looking every where for over a year. Though I would have thought that if they are going to sell them then they should sell covers as well.

Dont know about NZ but here in the UK you buy Cot Bed size duvet inners and covers and they fit the cots that convert by taking the sides off. A single duvet swamped our cot bed but these ones are perfect.
Maybe have a google for Cot Bed Duvet Cover??

there is a lady who makes and sells them on Trade Me.
probably not allowed to list her name, but search for 'strawberry jam duvet cover' and you may get some hits . . .
we got one from her - not super cheap but great quality and 100% cotton and some gorgeous fabrics

I haven't found anywhere in NZ, BUT IKEA in Aussie sell duvet covers and duvets. We have 2 covers from there, and one duvet inner. So maybe go on a holiday to Aus and go shopping

Yeah - I was gonna suggest the strawberry jam ones - she makes lovely cot/ bassinet linen and great woolen blankets.

We've just had this problem and while there's heaps on TM, they're often too small for the fairydown duvets. We did end up buying an Ikea one off TM though which fits, and yeah the strawberry jam lady makes them too
