Hey guys
Just a little heads up incase you haven't seen the news or anything, but there is a huge storm approaching (the size of australia!) so just thought i would share this link. Might be a good idea to have some candles or what not in case the power goes out.

Hopefully it shouldn't be to bad. usually the larger the depression is, the less severe it is. In this case it is really spread out.

Chris Wind is picking up in hamilton now and the rain has started but I find these things are over pretty quickly. Hope it isn't too much of a bumpy ride for you.

updated storm details
weather looks like its starting to change up here, started off nice this morning now the wind is picking up a bit and has gone all cloudy.
supposed to be bad for the next 48 hours so its not just today. who knows though, they could get it all wrong!

We had a cyclone travel over top of our town when DS was just little....him and DH and the cat slept through it but I was awake til 4.30am til the eye came, was so sure that the tree was going to fall on the house.......I had DS bassinette right next to the bed ready to grab him haha!
Lots of rain is nice to listen to but lots of wind sucks!

It's been sunny here but the wind has been blowing a gale all morning where I am in West Auckland, it's now just started raining and the grey clouds have set in. I love it though, just feel bad for anyone that has to be in it!

I'm on the West Coast and we've had heavy rain and STRONG wind since just after midnight... this morning we've had thunder and lightening and hail too! Not fun
