Aroha- We are quite frozen starting to never leave the house lol! Although yesterday was not bad I think it even got to 14 in the day! And a low of 6 which is awsome because for weeks its been under 0 at night.
Awww what a cute bump it seems such a short time ago yet sooo long since weve had the bumps

Well I made it PT is one today! I can't believe that it was a year ago but here we are one year on YAY. Poor wee thing has had to big crashes this morning. But slept in till 6.30 this morning so YAY on that.

We have not been too bad these last couple of days 2degrees at night and today you could nearly say it was warm. It was not windy or raining and after the fog lifted at 11.30 this morning the sun shone! Although there was not too much heat it was soooo nice!!! Hows your weather?
Crashes as in fall overs and bangs? Cause Damon is the king with those.
Go Aroha on the big 1yr you now only have 17to go haha.
Damon is trying so hard to walk but is so funny cause he does not want to try to walk alone thats on one hand on the other hes always trying to then panics and crawls

Nadia - yeah PT was in the wars the other day (falling over) but seems to be back on balance now - although had a terrible nights sleep - I am so tired but on a third cuppa tea soon the caffeine will kick in I am sure
Not long now for you 1yr birthday YAY 
The weather is cold or has been cold up here but nothing compared to you guys, down to 1 over night which is very cold for Auckland...

Damon seems to have quite bad balance somtimes but hes getting there. Its more a sceard of falling thing it seems.
Yep nearly the big 1! Hes really starting to change and grow up more too I just cant belive the changes that are seem to happen every day!
We have a sunny day today but the wind is very strong and freezing

Damon is doing great! Last Thurday he took his first 3 steps and today less than a week latter he is walking around the whole house
But we have to go to the Doc on Friday as he still seems to have a sort of refulx thing
How are you guys going?!

Oh I am so sorry Aroha I kept meaning to come on here and forgot! But a very belated happy birthday to your little man!! I remember getting the text the day he came. It was so exciting and now its a year later! Hope you had a wonderful day 
We have just past Zac's first birthday here too. Had a party and some family flew over from NZ which was lovely but it means we have been busy entertaining them.
Sounds like it has been very cold in NZ! It is quite cold here but during the day it is fine so I really don't envy you guys. Especially now we have to try keep babies (I guess they are toddlers now?) warm.
Nadia so excited for you that Damon is walking! We are getting closer every day eep!
Hope you are all well, promise to come on again more to make sure everything is going well for you Aroha x

Panda - Happy birthday to Zac, sounds like you had fun always nice to have visitors but sometimes a bit exhausting as well.
Damon - HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Yep another cold day yesterday was zero when we headed out for coffee with PT (he wasn't impressed) but all was made up for with a freshly baked date scone yummmm.
Well off to do a few things while PT is sleeping, he was up early this morning and DH decided that it was a good idea to get up and watch some tennis at 1am so I am a bit tired this morning.
Hope everyone is good and Panda I am wishing I had the warm Sydney winter, however loving the lovely sunny day weather we have been having but wish it was a couple of degrees warmer.
Panda - we might (huge might) be coming to Sydney later this year for a holiday, depending on what happens with a plumbing issue we have here at the moment, so it is between Sydney, Melb or Brisbane. Anyway if we make it over and it works would you be keen to catch up for a coffee??

Ah I so know that lack of sleep feeling. It seems we don't have routine sleep at the moment! Every day is different with Zac probably due to teething..
I can remember how cold it was in NZ! We used to have terrible condensation issues where we lived and our place felt really damp in winter and it had a heat pump! Over here we don't get anything as bad so we are very lucky.
Oh and absolutely if you come to Sydney I would love to meet for coffee!

Panda - yay it will be cool to meet you in person (if we get there) and to meet Zac - it is funny to talk with people so much and not actually meet them. Well off to do some chores or some reading which to do while PT sleeps... I might relax today very tired early to bed for me tonight.

Hey guys, taken me quite a few days to get back on here! Damon had a great small family dinner last Sunday and got a nice toy The bird bath from playskool I think thats what it was called. But hes played non stop with it since.
Man the last two nights have been freezing over night like -3 but the days have been sunny atleast

Hi. Im new. Just found this forum but its not my 1st parenting forum. I have 3kids, our 3rd, Sophie was born June 2011.
I love this age. They are mobile and interested in everything. Babble constantly and find joy every where.

Nadia - YAY go Damon!!! Now time to really lock up the all the extra stuff that you haven't yet it is amazing how far they can reach and how fast they get super quick. BUT YAY!!

Who has independent walkers wreaking their houses?
Baby girl is the slowest of the kids to walk on her own but I'm not complaining. She'll walk holding 1 of my hands and is a monster crawler

Aroha- I cant belive how much Damon can reach now. And the stuff I cant move I would tell him no and he would leave it well not anymore. He will just keep doing it at any cost!
Welcome Queen! Im sure you do have your hands full and it may be a good thing shes not walking on her own yet lol cause it will be just more trouble!
I am loving this age as well Damon and me went back to playcentre today first one after the holidays! And he loved it!!! He was black from playing outside as it was quite a nice day and he just loved it so much. we are going again tomorrow.

Nadia - we are trying to work out whether or not to go to PlayCentre. We have to commit to two days a week at the one that is close to us (one I can walk to) but the other one 10min drive you can go once a week if you want. PT is still on two sleeps (would love to go to one) but he normally sleeps from 9-11 and PC is 9-12 so kind of pointless I think at the moment.
When PT walks up to something he isn't allowed to touch he looks at you then smiles and keeps going towards it! Grrr funny but annoying at the same time.
QueenBee - man I don't know how you do it, I can hardly manage with one!
