I am in the hunt for a new carseat and although price does concern me a little I am willing to pay a little more for the safety that comes with what you buy IYKWIM!
I currently have a 9-45kg Evenflo Booster seat which the harness is only safety tested up to 18kg. My DD currently uses this one with the seat belt as she is now 20kg. I really don't like the idea of her using the seatbelt as she has a bad habit of leaning forward quite alot so was thinking of upgrading her seat (and DS can use this as he currently weighs 11kg) to one where the harness is tested to a heavier weight.
I have found two seats one which is the Evenflo Generations where the harness is tested to 25.5kg and a Radian which is tested to 36kg from memory. I have yet to come across any more options and find the staff at most baby stores to be hopeless for information on Child seat restraints.
My DS is currently in a birth to 18kg seat which we will prob upgrade before the new babe is out of the capsule and into a new car seat.
There are so many options out there and was just wondering if anyone could help me out with any suggestions at all.
Oh and another thing when the new baby is in a car seat I wouldnt mind them being all on the back seat together and our seat measures 1.2m wide. If thats any help.

There are some carseats that you can add the protector harness to and is suitable for 14-32 kilos
