I have some scars on my legs and im wanting to fade them to get ready for summer. I have heard bio-oil is good but has anyone used it? how often did you use it and how?

also what fake tan do people use? im hoping that a good (fake) tan will help cover them

It can take up to a year to make them fade, a more natural alternative is Rosehip oil.

I used bio oil on a big scar on my leg a few years back which I did shaving- it was a 3 blade razor so a three lined scar!!! I used bio oil every day for about 3 months and the scar went away- so it worked for me! I am using it this pregnancy too to try and prevent stretch marks and have only got 2 tiny ones now at 33 weeks so I think it is effective. The key is patience cos it takes a long time but they do fade.

Re fake tan last year I used PIz Buin, it was good because I have fair skin and it built up gradually rather than just going straight on and orange. It wasn't meant to be a gradual build up one like summer glow etc but that was how it worked in the end. I chose the one for fair skin if you wanted a darker one you can get that too. It was a nice natural colour. You can get it from the chemist.
