DS is 14 months old.. I would love to hear what your favourite playground is for your wee toddler.. there are a lot of playgrounds for older children but not so much out there for the younger ones.

We love chelsea st playground in Miramar
Behind Scotts College in Strathmore
and Seatoun Beach Park.

Anywhere else that is super cool we could visit ???

We used to go to the one at the top of Pirie St by the bus tunnel in Mt Vic. Also, the playground at Oriental Bay (next to the pool and tugboat) is great with the added bonus of the beach right beside it for sandcastles, etc!

I can't believe they took down the fort, that's one of my favourite childhood memories. Remember when in summer you could hire the little boat things and go around the duck pond, run around the fort, play mini golf....

Oh no has the fort gone!? That park is just over the bridge from my house and I didn't even notice.

We usually go to the park in Belmont Domain, Chelsea loves the swings and slide. Haven't been to many other parks

Ther's a fenced toddler playground in Shorland Park in Island Bay, we spent ages there when Fay was young. Also half way up Houghton bay road, bit exposed to the southerly on a windy day but it's great fun. and a coll little park with a toddler section outside Newtown Library it's fenced but on a busy junction. Never had any issues there
