We had a little boy :)It was a very quick labour 40 minutes. 9lb1oz, which suprised everyone. Even my midwife couldn't believe how big he was. Esme was only 7lb10oz

Yay congrats EsmesMum I have noticed that most second babies tend to be bigger, your body must get better at making them

40mins- holy crap! talk about fast alright. did you find it any more difficult birthing a bigger baby? DD came early so she was only 6pound12, hence I can expect to have a bigger baby this time around lol.

Thanks everyone.
Wriggles I had a scan a few days earlier that estimated his weight as 7lb14oz, MW didn't think he'd be that big. We though 8lb something. He's quite long too, 55cm, he's not going to be in NB things for very long!
It was much easier LA even with being induced, was quite intense due to it being quite quick though. Esme was posterior and induced as well so that made it trickier. I had to push for 2 hours with her, this time he was out in 3. My second stage is recorded as 0 minutes. His head was significantly bigger too, I have no tearing or anything so I'm recovering a lot quicker compared to last time. I was intact with Esme as well but quite bruised.
I'm looking forward to getting some new nappies!

Congrats EM
That second babies being bigger is not really true. DS was 8lbs 1oz and DD was 7lbs 6oz, not much difference though.
Does anyone know if we will be able to laybuy the new LEs straight away? or will it be like last time when laybuy started a few days after realise?

I asked Cheeky Cherubs and they said that laybys will be available 48 hours after the launch from Tuesday 1st November 8:30pm. And they will have free shipping for the first 48 hours from the launch time on Sunday 30th 8:30pm.

What a bonkers time to launch a product in NZ, I would imagine that many if not most people are going to be more interested in the rugby than in nappies lol

I just asked DH which of the Ltd Ed he thought we should get, I was expecting him to say none or just one of them (wo-bott), instead he's said we have to get all of them.
Perhaps I should be signing him up for this thread

I've asked my sister to order me a couple from the UK site (as that's where all my family live) and they will be a Christmas present to Sprocket.
Then I'll try to order some myself next weekend. She's getting me gerry and wo-bott, I'm treating myself to galaxy and eton (and maybe a blankee). This boy is going to be nappied up by the time he's born!

Congrats, esmesmum! I'm not sure I will be getting any of the new ones. Kinda took the fun out of it by releasing them so close together. Pah, who am I kidding, I prob will get one. A few. All of them. I'll investigate laybys...
