That's an 80's song not that old.

60's - can't beat the Rolling stones or the Beatles
70's - Pink Floyd, Queen's early stuff and the Bee Gees

50's - reminds me of the big band era stuff my parents used to listen too, Dad likes Neil Diamond

LOL - I like the perspective of what "old" is...
I just about choked when hanging out with someone a wee bit younger recently, who was talking about all of these "Cool old school things, from the 90s"....

90s is NOT OLD!!!!

That was my up the asile song...it reminded me of my Dad, a big elvis fan and he died 10 months before we got married.

I love classic 60s and 70s rock music..
Fave 70s stuff "The River" or anything by Bruce Springsteen, Anything by fleetwood mac or Queen..Rolling stones YES PLEASE!!! Ac/Dc
My fave song of all time is Silver Springs by fleetwood and my "funeral" song/s are "songbird" and "landslide"...I would have my other ultimte fave 70's rock track - Highway to Hell however Im sure its not really fitting for a requiem mass! lol

I love old music. I pretty much don't listen to anything newer than the 80s (born in the wrong era, I tell you! ). Coast FM is my favourite radio station.

Queen is my favourite band of all time, so anything by them! A lot of their older stuff is amazing but not very well-known.

I also like golden oldies like 'The Last Waltz' by Engelbert Humperdinck, 'Moon River' by Andy Williams and 'Save the Last Dance for Me' by The Drifters. Love Dean Martin and the like too.

Ooh, and stuff by the Seekers! 'A World of Our Own', 'I'll Never Find Another You' and 'When the Stars Begin to Fall'.

And the Carpenters! Karen Carpenter is my favourite female vocalist of all time. 'Goodbye to Love', 'Rainy Days and Mondays'... Great songs to sing - I have performed them a few times. Also performed a few Seekers things with my friends, which used to go down well!

Gosh, there are a lot. I love my old music! Can you tell?

I love Patsy Cline!! Her voice is amazing and it's a shame she died so young (Yet another star killed in a plane crash).

I also love Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, The Platters and all Motown!!

I'm positive I was born in the wrong era.
