Topic: Good value disposable nappies Posted: 27 April 2011 at 12:24pm |
Can anyone recommend disposable nappies that are good value and able to be bought online?
I was buying Huggies but now that my child has gone up a size they are working out fairly pricey per nappy. I was wondering if there was a cheaper brand that is good enough and if I can buy them somewhere that delivers.
I tried buying Treasures nappies on the ReachMe site but have been waiting 2 weeks for delivery so wont be doing that again

They aren't online but homebrand nappies are really good and very cheap. We don't shop at countdown but once a month I make a trip there to go get them

Have you looked at buying them via the supermarket online store?

I like babylove for daytime use, I save huggies for night time as I find them expensive to use during the day.

I had a good chat with the lady the last time I was in the nappies for less store and she said they charge more online for the exact same product (babyonline) so if you can make it to the shop buy in bulk! I also like toujours but normally buy one they call supervalue $20 for 70 nappies. At night I do use treasure though

Thanks everyone! I looked at the Baby Online store but couldnt see Toujours there so I've emailed them to ask. I'll also find out where their closest store is to me.
I also have one packet of Homebrand nappies that we are trying while I wait for our nappy order to arrive.

Oh no! Being in Auckland you would think Treasures would get it to you quickly. I currently buy off the Treasures website & the longest I have waited for the nappies to arrive at my door is 5 working days & I'm in Manukau. They work out cheaper & with free delivery, it's awesome.
Did you buy the promotion special they had running on Reach Me recently? They must be backed up on there. Maybe best to call Treasures direct to see where your delivery is. Good Luck

Yeah, it was with the promotion they ran recently. I'm really annoyed that they didnt just send out an email letting people know there was a delay - they waited until people started contacting them to find out what was going on. I'll never order through them again.

Oh that is bad customer service on their part. Not good. I hope you find a better alternative. I started to use Treasures in the last 2 months once my youngest outgrew the Huggies Newborn. They are really good & I think just a tad bit better than Huggies for some reason. It holds alot of wee well & I hardly have any dreaded 'pooplosion spills' from using Treasures which I mostly did with Huggies.
But with service like that, I don't blame you!

Online they always do 50-60% off the second box tho and free delivery. I usually pay around 26c per nappy so $18.20 for 70.

Thanks apriletta! I emailed them to ask and was just told to check the website for what they stocked. It seems to be my week for it!
I'll order some and give them a try

Yeah the toujours are great - called dryups on baby online... they are awesome nappies, I switched to them cause I had so many problems with huggies leaking... I have also had some of the USA made from there as well for DD2 and they are good too... And next day delivery if you are in auckland

We use Nappies Direct website, they have Huggies at a great price, and they delivery super fast. Plus they always have great deals on, either nappies, or last month I got a free toy. It's worth checking out :-)
