anyone have any experience (good or bad) of the safety First Phoenix convertible car seat 3 in 1? It's on sale for about $250 at the mo at Farmers, which I thought was a great price as it rear faces to 18kg, and converts to a booster to 36kg.

Thanks in advance!

I saw thattoday in the catalog. It looks good. Cheaper than a radian. I'd get one if I needed it.

It is listed as one of the '10 worst boosters' in a list that is published in the States.

I think that is only when it is used as a booster though, I'm pretty sure it is fine as a convertible just rubbish as a booster (because of the way the seatbelt sits on it)

We got one for our second car to use infrequently for some daycare drop offs and think it is great.   We have a Recaro in the other car (very expensive) and this seems just as good to use to me!

Hi Snooze, what Recaro do you have in your other car?

We need to move on from our Recaro capsule that we love, but not sure what to get next, especially cause DS is so young still.

DH is only really keen on Recaro, but they don't do good rear facing seats, and I can't find a convertible that matches the quality of Recaro.

TIA
