I would go with a woven if you want o back carry later on. It means you do 't have to buy another carrier. Stretchy wraps often aren't wide enough and have roo much stretch to safely use with back carries.
Have a look on TM for Hoppediz wraps. They are good quality , really good price and they have loads of colourways. And they don't take too long to break in .
The only con of a woven wrap is that you can't pre- tie them. Once you practise a bit though it's not an issue.
And if you can get to a Slingbabies meeting you can try some out . There is one in West Auckland and one in Southeast auckland.
