We're looking into buggies, and its hard with twins as not to many options. We've been looking at the Mountain Buggy Duet which I do really like, but I would love to be able to see a Duo just to compare them. Does anyone have either a Duo or Duet and what do you think of it? My only concern is the seat size in the Duet, are they going to be to narrow?

These are the specifications I was given:
Duo buggy      - New born to 6 years                                    Duet Buggy    - Newborn to 5 years
                        - 50 kg combined seat load                                                    - 36 kg combines seat load
                        - 73 cm width                                                                              - 63 cm width

So the Duet takes a much lighter load ... such a hard decision.

I think Wannabe has a mountain buggy of some kind with her twins, maybe flick her a PM and ask what she thinks?

If you want to see the two prams together and compare you should go to babystar. They have a store in Tawa so you could compare them together and the staff have been quite helpful there in my experience and know their prams. Sorry I haven't tried either of them but I hope that helps.

Are you going to be getting this in and out of the car? or are you going to also buy a twin car stroller? Because the duo is a fantastic buggy but is very heavy and you will not want to put it in and out of your car. I have had two and only used them for walking. Have you looked at other options like the baby jogger city select? I was talking to plunket yesterday who told me that there has been a lot of research into pram's and they are recommending people by prams where the child faces the person pushing them. I must admit i like to see my babies. Totally up to you but i have also had a baby jogger city select and found it fantastic, light weight and great how the seats can be changed Good luck with whatever you chose :). I could never decide so i have 3 prams for different things
DD 12 DS 9.5 DD 6 DS 4 DD 23 months and here comes number 6
