Afternoon ladies :)

I am currently pregnant with our second child and I'm thinking about purchasing a sling to carry our newborn around in while Mr-then-4 will walk beside me. Just for little outings.

As I have zero knowledge about slings, could those of you sling mums give me a heads up at what to look for or recommend a particular sling.

We have a ring sling and a Manduca. I have found both brilliant and highly recommend the Manduca to everyone though it is a bit pricey.

Slingbabies is a group dedicated to helping mums find the right carrier for them. There is a baby wearing group in Hamilton and I have copied this off their website for you:

I've been to the waikato meeting and they are really helpful. they have a FB group too. If you go to a meeting you'll be able to try on a range of brands/styles to see what suits you.

My little boy is almost 4 and I bought a Manduca for #2 (now 6mths). Best thing I have ever bought, I use it almost every day! Its wonderful!

Def go along to slingbabies, i have bought 4 different slings and carriers, and wish I had just spent the same money on 1 good one!
