Hi everyone, just wanting a bit of vehicle advice. We're joining the ranks of those with 3 kids next year.... with the necessary move to a bigger car. Just wanting to know what you all recommend please    Looking at Odysseys at the moment, if you use the second lot of seats do you then lose all boot space?? Any thoughts/advice would be most appreciated. Thanks guys!

with odyssey's you can fold up one of the seats and not the other so have some boot space, but then you have a kid in the back row with a pram/groceries next to them so could be not easy.so the back row is best suited to an older child, most likely 5+ (in my opinion).

My other choice would be a Nissan Serena van.
they are very roomy in the boot space when all seats are up and set out, and 3 of the rear seats have lap belts and the other 2 are lap belts, or when all seats are folded away they hold big furniture. (prams are easy to secure in a standing position so the dont fall out when the boot is opened, by using bungy cords attached to the head rest on the seats)
this listing here has good pictures.

We have the 1998 honda Odyssey and it has a deep boot which we can get our Double mountain buggy urban into with the back seats up also as we have 4 children. However my mum had the 2001 modle and the boot is rubbish in them. She only had it 2 months and then went for a Estima van. They are lovely. Far better than the Odyssey IMO. We are sticking with our Odyssey until out little ones are a little older and then are going to go for something like the ford territory.

We just bought a Ford Territory, and I LOVE IT!@!! Could not reccomend it highly enough! It has HEAPS of boot space, even with the back seats up I still got in a full suitcace, some pillows and other stuff...and best of all, you get a nice looking vehicle AND the option of 7 seats without the ugly look of a van/station wagon/people mover...I'm a bit of..well alot of a snob..I spend alot of my day in my car and I wanted something practical but no comprimise on style/looks and I HATE the van/wagon thing and I always think that men who drive people movers look like they have lost the will to live hahahaha...just cos you have lots of people to move dosen't mean you need an ugly car, lol.
Lol so yeah, LOVE the territory. (Also test drove an oddysey...wasn't keen on the look and wasn't very ooopmhy. We have a caravan so needed a bigger engine.)
