Hi all, I'm very new to this forum and haven't had a good chance to browse through everything yet. But, I'm wanting to get advice on flying in the first trimester? DH and I have our belated honeymoon in June (a 3.5 hour flight away) but we want to start TTC#2 now! I get quite nervous thinking about flying say at 4-12 weeks - just in case! Any tips? Experiences? Advice? Thanks in advance!

Hi MrsL, welcome and good luck

I flew during my first tri (7 weeks). It was only an hour each way, though. It was absolutely fine.
I felt a little queasy during take-off and landing, but that's fairly normal for me. I think the morning sickness just amplified it

Thanks for that, basically I'm concerned about increased chance of miscarriage but there appears to be no medical evidence to suggest that so I guess I'll just check with my doc when I go in next just to be sure!

I flew at around 11-12 weeks...just don't sit next to someone with wine (uggghhh nausea) and get an isle seat so you can go to the loo really easily!
