Well had my scan today and I have 12 follies, which apparently is very good!
Need a couple more days of drugs for them to mature properly, so having another scan on Sunday then hopefully egg collection on Tuesday, all going well.

Had my second scan this morning, all good, so I am 'triggering' at midnight tonight, so egg collection will be midday on Tuesday! This is the 'action' part of the cycle!

Today's EC was quite painful, but pretty successful with nine eggs retrieved. I am feeling good now, pretty lucid and only dull pain so far. So I guess it's waiting until tomorrow morning to see how successful we are with fertilisation!

Had a call from the embryologist this morning and we are now the proud parents of eight fertilised eggs! One was immature, so did not fertilise.
So now fingers crossed that these eight keep doing what they should and if all goes well I will have embryo replacement on Friday.

If I have a really good 8 cell embryo I will just be replacing one. I will only opt for 2 to be replaced if the quality is not good. One baby at a time will be more than enough for me!
